Nitenpyram (“nigh-tin-pie-rum”) is the active ingredient found in most flea medicine. It is known for its rapid, short-term effect against adult fleas, and can be administered orally to both dogs and cats.
Lufenuron
Lufenuron is the active ingredient used to kill flea eggs and flea larvae. To get rid of fleas completely, it’s most effective to treat against the various life cycles of a flea infestation, thus it’s safe to administer alongside with Nitenpyram.
